Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Lucknow:
On arrival in Lucknow, you would be met and assisted at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel. Have dinner and a night stay at a hotel.
Day 2 : Lucknow to Shravasti [ 150 km / 3 to 4 hrs ]:
After breakfast Today you visit the mainShravasti Buddhist monastery to find yourself lost where you actually find yourself eventually.
Day 3 : Shravasti to Kushinagar[ 240 km / 5 to 6 hrs ] :
After breakfast, drive to kushinagar. (cost included Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 04 :Kushinagar to Varanasi ( 240 km / 5 to 6 hr ) – After breakfast, drive to varanasi. Later in the day attend evening aarti by boat ride (cost included Stay overnight in hotel
Day 05 : Varanasi – Morning Boat Ride -Sarnath (12KM, 30 Min)-Dhamekh Stupa -Sarnath Museum, After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park (Rishipattana)
Day 06 :Varanasi to Bodhgaya (80 KM,2Hrs)-Nalanda – Local Visit- Dungeshwari Caves-Bodhi Tree -Gaya(12 KM)-Bodhgaya (300 KM, 6 Hrs)- After breakfast, we will drive to visit Lord Buddha Temple (Mahabodhi Temple) . Explore local sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Local Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Bodhi Tree.
Day 07:Bodhgaya (80 KM,2Hrs)-Nalanda Local Sightseeing (100 KM, 2 Hrs) – Rajgir Local Visit (15 KM, 30 Min) After breakfast, proceed to Bodhgaya, en-route to Nalanda . Visit ruins of ancient Nalanda University Archaeological Complex, Later we will drive to Rajgir evening back to hotel night stay at hotel
Day 08:Magadha Empire and is a pilgrimage for Buddhists – Departure Transfer from Patna:
Bodhgaya – Patna — Arrival to Patna Local Sightseeing .Visit ancient capital of Magadh Empire. Later, cover other sightseeing of Patna like Khuda Baksh Library, Patna Museum and GolGhar back to hotel night stay at hotel.
Day 09 : Departure Transfer from Patna:
After breakfast, checkout from hotel transfer to Varanasi Airport or railway station drop
